New CDL Truck Driver Tips Handling Your Driving Clock Hours

This video explains how I handle my daily on duty driving clock using the Qualcomm truck driver tracking system to maximize my driving hours (legally)

I rarely stay on duty once I'm docked, and I learned this early in my driving.

I only get paid detention pay in my company AFTER the 1st hour, and I have to remain on duty to get it.

I choose to clock off, not take detention pay, and keep my driving clock maximized since I make almost 40% more by driving.

You will need to figure out what works for you, since I am over the road driving and gone from home anyway, I would rather stay busy driving and relax in dock waiting time.

It's what works for me, and I'm averaging over 1k a week take home, so its been a good plan so far.
