It is desired to draw a line starting at A (3, 6) and ending at B(6, 2) on a graphics monitor use generalized Bresenham's algorithm to determine the pixels that world be put ON.

I have an one query can anyone please help me to understand that when we were taking r=8 we taking pi+1= pi+4(xi+1)+6 when p<0 but when we were taking r=10 then pi+1 = pi+4(xi)+6 why we were using xi instead of xi+1

I think your formula to calculate the decision parameter(pi) is wrong . (xi, yi) should be used instead of (xi+1, yi+1). We use the last value for calculating the decision parameter, not the current one .
