It's a very odd sensation having a surrounding room move independent of you own position. It gets to a point where you can't tell if your seat is rising or lowing. Very interesting. I wouldn't call it a thrill ride or intense, but certainly unique and engaging and definitely one of the best rides of it's type. I think the music, sound and visual effects really augment the experience. If the lead up to it wasn't as intriguing it wouldn't have worked so well. One thing I find most impressive is how you don't really hear the machinery and hydraulics at all during the ride. You'd think you'd hear it, but the ride is very smooth and I guess the music and sound effects mask them pretty well.

I went on it when I was about 13/14 I think and we were all completely blind to the experience with no prior knowledge of the legend itself or how/what the ride was going to be. Highly recommend if it's still operating.

I've been on most of the rides in the UK, in particular Hex as it's at my local theme park. It has got to be the best themed ride in the UK. And i've been on Rock n Rollercoaster and Tower of Terror.

When i first went to alton towers when i was about six or seven, i was so scared to go on this, everyone else went on but me and my dad had to wait outside because i wouldn’t stop crying 😂😂

This ride confuses me so much, the ride and the room moves so you not actually going upside down

When I first went out this, it blew my mind. The special effects and theatrical production of the ride is amazing in my opinion…. I also remember seeing a really tough looking bloke holding his head in his hand looking like he was trying to stop himself from falling off earth.

I believe there’s a theme park in there the Netherlands that has a version of this ride called Villa Volta. Not sure if that one is still operating either…
