Looks Great love the idea of 70-75 mpgs....To make the bike more practical....I'd weld together a nice looking black rear rack that could hold a nice looking triple bag neighbor drives about 40 miles round trip 5 days a week for a big V8 Chevy Silverado, I keep telling him a used $2, 000 70mpg 250 virago would pay for itself in a combination of gas savings & truck wear & tear.

You're a pro, this is amazing to watch and really amazing to see the finished product! Might have to swap my handlebars out to something like that.

I remember in the 60s a 250 was a midsized bike. Most kids had 80, 90, 125, and 175cc bikes. I say kids, like 15-18.

Small bikes can be so bad. Love your work.

Love your work and your videos where you just talk and explain what you are doing. You're very good at it and they are really informative. The music ones, not so much. I turn the sound down because I find the music annoying, as in this one. The parts list/links are especially appreciated. JMHO.

It's wondeful bike to work at.
I did a somewhat similar job on the wifes xv250 about 3 years ago.
Furthermore it is a surprisingly well driving bike.
Nice job. Enjoy the ride. 👍😉

Nice video. I've always liked that little V twin and have thought about "un-chopping" it with an 18" rear rim and longer shocks.

Not a fan usually of dark colors but that thing looks amazing. I just bought a brand new 2022 VStar-250 and I'm getting ready to bob it. I'm going with a retro 1970's paint scheme though. Painting the frame and all the chrome Burnt Copper, Painting the engine Bright Brown, Tank and Fender will be White with retro brown, yellow and orange fat pinstripes.

Good job and looks great but isn't it bad to paint the cooling fins on the engine?
