Goodman AC Daikin Group JUNK and Fraud company - Goodman AC HVAC Review

Do not buy a goodman HVAC air conditioning unit or you will regret it. reviews on Goodman AC are horrible as well.

I've been a Goodman customer for more than 25 years.

Previous ac/furnace unit lasted 19 years, then replaced it with a new one 6 years ago and it still running as smooth as day one.

so lets recap, per you its broke, it sucks, only 6 months old no warranty then warranty but only 5 years but still won't fix. video is all over the place just ranting instead of bitching ask people on here for help. its not the brand its the guy messing with it.

I honestly think the installers have made some mistakes, since Daikin is a world renowned HVAC company. Simply Google the name and find out for yourself about its history and technology.

Lol, so much bs in this video. ALL MFRS have that warranty. Use quality installation company for the ac unit and find a new siding guy while your at it! The warranty is fine, that could easily be installer error!

They are not as good as many others, but the issues here are.
1. Too close to the back wall. Min 18” clearance all the way around
2. Again, storage shed right up against the left side of the condenser.
3. Trap is janky, should have used an actual trap not made one out of 6 fittings.
4. If all this was overlooked imagine how terrible the ductwork is installed.
Installing contractor was not a “professional” definitely a DIY job, or a “friend”. Whoever did it has no clue what they were doing.

We also have goodman AC, fairly new 2021, it starts giving us issues on 2024. No tech can figure out what’s wrong, tech changed compressor, pressure switch, drier filter and still have short cycle timer (C3 error code). No cooling, just overworking and making our electricity bill go up.

Did you have a hvac tech out to check it? Could be the installer screwed up, or a thermostat installation problem. Who installed it, have you contacted them, etc.

Yea… it’s junk equipment but that install is shit. That condenser has barely any airflow.

What did Daikin do, invented the rotary motor, invented VRV. Inventing stuff. Whats Trane and Carrier and Rheem doing. Trying to keep up with Daikin.

What does Daikin put in their low end Goodman equipment. They build them in Texas

In their low end brand, they out in Copeland scroll compressors, blue ocean motors, made in america coils.

Was Goodman doing that before they got bought out by Daikin, nope... They were putting in Chinese trash.

Kicks ass somehow and cold air blown to the house and hot air out thr condenser and at 5 years heavy use and warranty is great so maybe in your state their warranty is a piece of shit or its just s form of bad luck but no offense on this guy

I own an hvac company and I install Goodman equipment and have never had these issues. Please explain what’s wrong with the system. It could be as simple as a capacitor. I just gave 2 quotes on new system replacements in the last 2 weeks that were original Goodman systems that were 30-35 years old. Give me a break dude don’t take out your frustrations on an entire manufacturer because your angry.

If it is a heat pump ...the installer got the wiring crossed and just needs to be switched so the reversing valve is correct for cooling and then heating...simple fix..why be mad at Goodman and call a Qualified HVAC Technician and get the unit operational instead of wasting time on running a decent company down in complete negativity when going forward with positive repair results is in everyone's best interests.

It’s probably not installed properly static probably high ducts are undersized and more don’t blame the company it’s not their fault it’s who installed it
