I was one of the many souls called by God to be received into the Church last night, by God's grace being confirmed and partaking in the Holy Eucharist for the first time. What a joyful moment! What a Saviour! Thank you, Fr Mike, for your ministry, which has been such a help and blessing on my journey. May the Lord continue to richly bless and use your ministry.

11 years ago, when I was a broken 58 year old woman (because I had just lost my marriage of 30 years and my mother to Alzheimer’s) as a favor only to a friend I attended church with him. I was Jewish. The minute I set foot in that church I felt transformed. I felt the Holy Spirit enter me. I began my journey to baptism, which occurred in March 26, 2016. The joy I felt was immeasurable. Six months later I was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer. There is no way I would have survived or gotten through all the surgeries and treatments that followed had I not stepped into that church. I believe that with all my heart. Sometimes we forget things. This sermon was incredible and brought to me that same joy that I had the first day I walked into that church thank you very much.

Fr. Mike’s homily beautifully reminds us that the hope of the resurrection is eternal. What never dies is God’s love for us!

After 7 months of RCIA, I was baptized and confirmed at Easter Vigil last night and received the Sacrament of the Eucharist for the first time. I am so grateful to be home in the Catholic Church and excited for how this will transform my life and my family. I would appreciate prayers not only for me, but also my husband, our son, and our unborn child I’ll be giving birth to next month. God is so good, happy Easter everyone!

This is such a beautiful Easter message because for many of us, the darkness persists and sometimes even increases on these Holy days. God bless you. 💝 Lord Jesus, you are the light of the world. Please continue to lead us safely home. Amen.

This is one of the most moving and inspiring homilies I've ever had the privilege of listening to. Father Mike's love and admiration for our Lord Jesus is truly palpable. It makes me want to continue to "get up and do something" in our Lord's name. Thank you, Father Mike. 🙏

Thank you Father Mike for all you do! I am a BIY and CIY graduate and they were great. I am so happy and blessed that my son has found you. He has 16 years of Catholic education. You have touched his heart. May you keep doing what you can. I believe he will come back to the church through you. God Bless You!

Thank you to Father Mike and the entire crew at Ascension. I received my confirmation and first communion at Easter Vigil last night after a lifetime away from the church and you all had a great hand in my journey since I discovered this channel in Feb 2024. I am forever thankful and may the Holy Spirit continue to work through you all.

Yes. I fell like it slipped through our fingers because we lost our favorite pope Francis. Although it is Gods will, , , , it is still hard to lose him.

Appreciate Father Mike for featuring Helen Keller, an important and influential figure on our perspectives regarding disability. She was a Deafblind person born without the technology we have today, yet she strove to spread God’s message of goodness and love.

We have so much to learn from her and the human spirit of growing against odds and darkness. Let’s also extend that hope with those around us.

Alleluia!

God bless you. I'm in OCIA after being Pagan and Atheist for most of my life. Such a great homily... I needed it.

What a beautiful Easter message Father Mike! Once again, you inspire me so much by your very well chosen words of encouragement. There has been darkness in our world the last few months by the decisions being made by our elected officials. But, like you say "get up and do what we can". We can persevere! Thank you, Jesus, for your Resurrection.
