IELTS Practice Tip 1

One of the biggest mistakes you can make during your IELTS preparation is believing that 'practice makes perfect'.

For most of our successful students, practice is only a small part of their overall preparation.

It is far more important to learn the fundamentals from a reliable source, get feedback from a professional teacher, and work hard on your weaknesses than to constantly practice.

Practice makes perfect when you do it correctly. Do it, check it, analyse your mistakes, learn from mistakes. Repeat. It helps a lot. There is a huge difference between just doing practice and doing it right.

Ok. Let's redefine this idiom then. Only practice in a right direction makes perfect.

Hello, Chris, I am Supriyo Dutta from India. Today I got my result. It's 6.5 no less than 6. I am very thankful to you❤. I watched your videos and followed your guidelines🥰. To be honest, it's marvelous😎. I got 7 in listening and reading🤓. In speaking it's 6.5 and writing it's 6 😢. I don't know why I have got less than 6.5 in writing. I followed your guidelines and structure. However, I am happy. Because, I don't have to take IELTS again😂 right now. 😅 This is to let you know that you, it's you who helped me a lot. ❤ Thank you sooo much. I always recommend your channel to every IELTS candidate. 😇 It's awesome to have a teacher like you. 🎉🥰 wish you and your family always stay fine. In my mother language, bengali, I want to say you that অনেক ধন্যবাদ আপনাকে 🥰❤ স্যার.

i reckon it is not like that some can improve their all 4 skills by just practising, bc speaking from experiance you can just find out that you old way to deal with exersices is not effective as you want so you try to create a new way, however it depends on personality and nature whether successful or fail

Practice makes you better, not necessarily perfect.
Just make sure that you practise properly, learn from your mistakes, focus and work on your weak areas and never repeat them again. You're good to go :))

Practice does make perfect, practice means you experience actual skills gaining, along with not only trying harder, but also working smarter and learning things. The reason why it’s not perfect is just because you are just only working hard
