A UK-based comedian - best known for his take downs of Western chefs' attempts at Asian cuisine - has been banned on Chinese social media, after making jokes about China. Nigel ng, best known for his 'Uncle Roger' persona, had his accounts suspended after a recent clip from his stand-up show poked fun at China and Taiwan. Dr Annie Ren from the ANU's Australian Centre on China in the World says the comedian's actions were enough to get him suspended off three social media platforms.
