Green Libraries: One School One Library Project

The sensory garden was originally established by the engineering students. They did it for their community engagement model. It was not in function and it was not used. This is a project to renovate existing libraries in two schools in Klerksdorp.

" I took it over and started using it as a training centre for the early childhood development phase practitioners. The challenge is to get the practitioners excited. Second of all we need books to share with them. Third of all, we need funding, of course. It can give them opportunities to extend further and to start their own little sensory gardens in their own little schools." - Thato Rossouw
