Hi, I just wanted to say I have really enjoyed all your breast pumping videos. Very informative! I just the purchased the Spectra 2 but I'm wanting to use the Medela flanges and bottles. Do you know if this hack will work with the Medela Sonata connectors or just the pump in style? Thanks :)

Omg. Thank you so so much. I am getting an S1 through insurance but I want to be able to use the Medela bottles and flanges (since they are cheaper and more readily available) if need be to avoid having to buy the Spectra adapter for the bottles. This will be way better.

I ended up buying adaptors so I could use the medela bottles with my spectra pump

The medela pump in style advance tubing fits the spectra tubing ports as well and the advanced tube connector end does work with the new max flow connectors as well. I like the closed system of the pump in style with max flow but the pump doesn't work for me.

Maymom sells a Long Stem backflow protector now which replaces the need for the adapter all together! =)

Is there away to use medela parts with the lansinoh pump? Extra parts are so expensive for the lansinoh and hard to find but I have a while bunch of medela parts I would like to still be able to use.

I dont understand why is there need in complex hacks. my medela pump in style tubes are connecting to spectra with no adapters. so i dont use any spectra parts but the pump

Thank you for the info I realize the pump that was passed on to me from my cousin is a spectra with maymom breast shields with those little yellow adapters and seems like a good setup but I noticed it wouldn’t suction to my boob specifically and did a look over and realized I’m missing the valves . So my sister ordered a maymom breast pump kit for medela breastpumps and am hoping I can make the two go together like we think 😅. I’m due in 7 days so wish me luck thx (:
