Heck of a lot of fun for $20 per box! I've got all 3 now. I agree with everything Zee and Camilla said. Also, I love the original theme, the 3 versions of each of the big bosses and the fact that the super thick lid doubles as a dice chucking tray!

I've been loving this game - such quick setup and you get that punishing dungeon crawler experience without the setup or the time commitment. I pre-ordered their deluxe dice and Scorn - can't wait til they come in.

This game (system) is so dang good. After one play I knew I needed it in my collection. Easy setup, satisfying gameplay both solo and multiplayer. Good variety, fantastic art and a great theme. Excited to pickup the 3rd box when it drops

Lovely review. I'm glad you mentioned the dice. I'd say after about 4 plays mine started to fade away. I contacted the company and they were very good about sending out some good quality stickers to cover the damage. Good customer service but 100% agree they need a better quality long term solution as it is a bummer.
Enjoyed the game and then traded it away - fun needn't need to keep it past 6 plays, which isn't a terrible thing 😊

Does anyone else love this but hate that some games are determined entirely by the 50:50 chance of hitting a fail on the black side of the dice in combo with having to pull an exhaustion that is game ending? When ignore bad stuff or don’t roll cards are so rare? That level of rng when you’ve spent time grinding to the boss is so off putting ( my experience is playing vainglorys grotto)

Wow, amazing scores! Cool to see so much love for these games as I feel that for Kinfire Chronicles. These are coming my way as part of my Kinfire Council pledge, so now I’m even more excited!

I played Marvel Champions once, and I liked it ok, but it didn’t sing to me. It was at a busy game night, so not the ideal environment to get into something like that. I’ve tried the original Aeon’s End a few times, and haven’t been able to beat the first boss, so haven’t gotten super into it either. I recently played the Disney Lorcana co-op vs. Ursula and I liked that quite a bit… and I have enough Disney Lorcana cards that it’s fun to try to build a deck to beat her.

Wow I had kind of dismissed this one as a stripped down version of a Kinfire Chronicles combat with no theme/story. Clearly I was wrong! Going to check this out ASAP.

It's spectacular Camilla gave 10 out of 10! "Seal of perfection" is a really good idea worth being implemented from now on 😀Regarding your opinion I'm on the same page. One thing really bothers me: is the author planning to add another characters and villains or this set is already closed?

Funny enough, this game reminds me a little bit of the boardgame "Ghost Stories". You're fighting these monsters on cards, trying to get through a deck to get to the last boss at the end. The main difference is that the game had an actual board (or tiles) that your character would move through, whereas this is just a card game.

Fascinating. I only played Vainglory’s Grotto. I found it boring - the mechanics were okay, the game was easy to learn, the icons were clean, production was well-done, but it’s just icon matching at the end of the day. I didn’t bother trying the other games since Vainglory’s theme was most appealing. Maybe if there was a board game where players can play as Vainglory that would be fun. 😂
