Pop-Up Tutorial 1 - Introduction – Materials and Basic Theory

This series of tutorials explains an easy way to make pop-ups without the need for templates or complicated measuring. As well as materials and basic theory, this first video explains the eight pop-up shapes that form the foundations of almost all pop-up designs.

I might have been five or six years old when I first saw a pop-up book. I was dazzled by it. Many years later, I'm just as amazed and delighted by pop-ups. The glimpses of spectacular pop-ups from books that were published a long time ago were fabulous! (And many thanks for providing such a wealth of information about the "basic rules" of pop-ups! I hope that with practice I'll be able to add pop-up elements to the cards I make.)

But I plan to make our wedding invitations pop-up and I really want something special, maybe like a 3 page booklet or something. Your tutorials are gold for what I need!
