That backstory behind Juuse Saros' mask Lion is Finnish Junior Hockey. The mascot of Finnish Junior Hockey is that lion and all hockey "schools" (first level of starting playing hockey, like you learn to skate there, play a little and normal super simple practices for like 3-5 years olds) are advertized with that lion!

On the Juuse Saros mask, that character was a mascot for the Finns when Saros won gold in the World Juniors.

The reason Allen had so many masks this year is because he is VERY superstitious. When he would go on a losing streak he would switch them. That's why he stayed with the white one, personally my favorite of them all, the last bit of the season, because he played well at the winter classic when he first used that mask. It's been that mask ever since.

Love this video's it's nice to see hockey stuff that's less serious! Hockey fans are passionate, the best fans in sports. But it can be exhausting :D! Especially as a hockey fan from the UK who supports the Pens! Keep up the great work guys love your content!

I'm not a fan of the blues (I'm a flames fan), but I REALLY like jake allen's helmet. It has a really simplistic look to it, with a nice blue outline that's matches to his jersey. And the yellow cage is just really good looking. I don't even know why but the yellow makes it amazing
