The LRA granted our Global Team Science Award to three international research teams from 14 institutions across four continents comprised of leading lupus experts.
An international team led by renowned lupus expert Dr. Betty Diamond at the Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research is examining brain function in people living with SLE. The goal is to discover whether immune cell abnormalities can cause cognitive complications in these patients.
