Wilfred is a live-action comedy about Ryan Newman (Elijah Wood), a young man struggling unsuccessfully to make his way in the world until he forms a unique friendship with Wilfred (Jason Gann), his neighbor’s canine pet. Everyone else sees Wilfred as just a dog, but Ryan sees a crude and somewhat surly, yet irrepressibly brave and honest Australian bloke in a cheap dog suit. While leading him through a series of comedic and existential adventures, Wilfred the dog shows Ryan the man how to overcome his fears and joyfully embrace the unpredictability and insanity of the world around him.

I remember this airing in 2011 even though i didn't have FX back then but I did have IFC with the Australian Version and I noticed that jason gann was Wilfred in both versions. I didn't start watching the US version till 2013 when it used to be on Netflix

I loved this show back in the day and have watched through it a few times. But last year when I gave it a go I lost interest. Maybe I need to be in a better head space.

Please finally make a season 3 and 4 bluray #FX. Or a complete series wilfred USA boxset. The CD-R DVDs of season 3 and 4 are a bad release of the show.
