How to play Mahjong or Mah Jongg Learn a “Finesse Move” coined by Ruth Unger one of the founders of the National Mah Jongg League.

A player holds back a tile that can be replaced on another player’s rack. She waits until her 13th tile is thrown, calls it for exposure, then completes a joker exchange, simply replacing the tile on the other player’s rack and receiving a joker and that Joker completes her final set to give her Mah Jongg. It all works out and you have made the Finesse Move and win the game and you are entitled to a self-pick bonus.
This moves shows the Mah Jongg players’ finesse and creativity.
