Fabrizio, What's the situation with private jet ownership in the UK? I know there are a few hundred that are owned by lease companies sitting in the UK but not so many in private ownership, whereas in the USA there are lots and lots of private owned in addition to leased planes, do they make it very difficult and punish private individuals that make moves to buy planes? Or is it OK so long as you let them take as much tax as they want and the rest is just a formality?

This is not the time for most corporations to buy a jet. This cycle of pushing for capitalism when things are great and then the very same people pushing for socialism when they want a tax payer funded bailout has to stop. Companies must be allowed to fail otherwise it is not capitalism. Companies who have unusually leveraged operations should be phased out by attrition and this will ultimately strengthen a society.
