Ludwig’s The Pocket Kit by Questlove

Have a drum student (6 year old) who owns this kit and it's a fine starter drum set for smaller kids. As you can probably tell, the cymbals are of "Ay Yi Yi!" quality, but everything else is pretty solid. Even came with a small drum stool, although I don't think this video shows that. I actually enjoy playing on it when I have the odd lesson at his place.

I went to guitar center, I tried to purchase a kit, it didn't come with a high hat or symbol, yet Questlove in this video says it does.

I assembled the entire kit and then the very last screw for the cymbal that goes on top of the bass drum is totally stripped. So I’m SOL. Literally the entire kit was put together with ease and then one stinking screw is stripped but I’m trying to find how to get in touch with Ludwig but everything on the website is about online lessons and I don’t find any help besides online lessons or any contact email address.

What's a good beginners pocket kit for Adults, or could I use this one since Quest is using it?

Nice except that the serial numbers on the site don't work so you can't access the videos. And there's no links to help or support. Kit arrived last night for a birthday. Can't register. Can't get help. :(

Is this okay for tall adults? I'm pretty tall for a woman at 5'9". Equates to 6'2" for men in leg length.

It came in many pieces with no instructions!!!! I tried to get help but my registration number didn't work. I called none answered on the helpline. If you want to parents buy this for their kids, provide printed instructions. I wouldn't recommend this kit unless someone is willing to come and set it up. Questlove, I know you are a parent so can appreciate there is nothing worse than your child getting a new toy that none can put together. Very disappointing.

that's actually a nice kit, the tools have five lugs, which is a lot better than four.
