Companies only remain profitable while there are customers who will buy their products and services. It's the customers who are responsible for the emissions - and that includes most of us. That's anyone who's traveled by car or bought products delivered by trucks or turned on a light or a heater or air conditioner etc. To lay the blame entirely with the companies is asinine.

Carbon emitters and polluters should be measured per capita (per person). Every person should have the same rights and responsibilities. Otherwise, it does not make sense and totally unfair.
