I said it’s Monday and I haven’t heard from my girl, MeMe and then you popped up about an hour later. I had a vegetable casserole with crushed cheese its at a homecoming that was delicious and I have been searching for the recipe. Maybe this will work!

Oh, and I have you beat on small towns! My husband and I grew up in southern Oklahoma, and my home town had about 90 people! My husband’s — the county seat — had about 1, 200!!! In fact back then we only had about 5, 000 in the entire county! We left after we finished college in 1973 and the area has grown a little, but still very small! 😊

I live in the country but our town has about 1500 people. I came from an even smaller town, so I can relate with you there. I made the vegetable casserole from your first cookbook and we loved it. I will have to try this one now! Love from Missouri! ❤😊
