All these films are Classic Italian horrors, so my guess is that the game mode will be inspired by that.

It's the "which counselor is team killing you" mode.

In part five, there was a man named Roy who went crazy.

He acquired a hockey mask and dressed up as Jason Voorhees and killed people.

With this new game mode, and the hashtag #whoisfiVe, it could be referring to the fifth movie when all that occurred, and the game mode could include counselor as a killer who kills the other counselors. Hence the single blue dot randomly placed throughout the black dots and the frames of the counselors.

Paranoia : suspicion and mistrust of people or their actions without evidence or justification.

Took me two years, but I think the mode was more referring to the end of Part 5 than just Roy. Cause in the ending there was the whole dream sequence where Tommy takes Roy’s mask and kills the nurse. So it would’ve likely been just like that were once counselor would’ve had a a mask, and had to equip it to kill the other counselors.

I love the inspiration from the classic Italian Slasher films. The theme is from “Suspiria”, and the visuals are inspired by “A Bay of Blood” trailer
