This has been VERY helpful. I took delivery of a C388 last week on which bluetooth was not working. I have been in communication with NAD support continuously since then and they did not offer this solution. What I find strange is that once I had enabled bluetooth on the unit, it was discoverable and the screen confirmed that my iPhone was connected, but it would not play back music. Holding the "Enter" should not be a solution but it has worked for me. Thank you Soundline!!!

A good guide or overview of the modes and the workflow. This helped a lot to configure my iPad or disable other devices.

If the C338 (or presumably any of them) cannot be found (can't be seen) as a Bluetooth device (either from iOS or from MacOS), make sure the amp is connected to WiFi *first*. For some reason, Bluetooth discoverability is dependent on a Wifi connection existing first. Once I did that, the NAD showed up as a BT device on both iOS and MacOS.

Side note: the integrated volume control only works when broadcasting from iOS. When you use a BT output from the iTunes selector on desktop, there is NO volume displayed on the amp - the volume control indicator goes blank (but the volume slider in iTunes still works).

Thanks, great insight. Is "Sink" as error? Did the engineer mean "Sync"? And rather than "Enabled" I think "Enable?" would be less confusing. Surprised these old menu systems are still in use - they put users through so much pain. You've your work cut out selling these :)

Chrystal clear explanations for an otherwise unnecessary complicated and obscure set of NAD menus

I'm trying to find out if my NAD C325 BEE can be adapted to do bluetooth? It's an older model, wondered if I can add a dongle or like? Thanks, Owen

Soundline Audio New Zealand  Hi. I hope you could help me with my setup. I have the NAD 1000 and the NAD 2400. Id like info on how to connect them, and I need suggestions for a NAD cd and bluetooth player/receiver. Cheers!
