Thank you SO MUCH for this Henning. I am struggling to get the Animalizzer out there, being a small builder trying make a way into the pedal businees world is, ... VERY hard. Your review is a precious help!
On a side note about the controls: the depth controls how much low frequencies goes into the clipping stages. Less "depth", more "distortion-like-pedal" you get, less fuzziness - with less gain it can also sound like an overdrive. Crank the Depth, and it's fuzzy as fuzz can get. The treble and bass equalization are just for small tweaking, especially the bass control since it's efectiveness will depend on how much bass you feed into the clipping stages (i.e. how much "depth" you feed into it).
Regarding Andy, he's been so supportive of me. You don't have to send him the Animalizzer, it's yours to keep. I thank you both from the bottom of my heart.

I have this and it is an anthology of great fuzzes and more!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 The designer Ricardo is a great artisan and this pedal reflects this throughout. Pedalboard keeper for sure.

I have one and it is the fuzz that ended my hunt for a Muff-type fuzz. It is beyond excellent. Works in pretty much all scenarios.

I know that treble knob not working in a lot of settings must bug the hell out of you - it would me too honestly but this thing is still really cool. I’d be writing shit down for sure (gated, open, muffy, scooped, etc)

I tested this pedal and it can morf into basically any kind of Muff you can imagine. I own a couple of pedals made by Tone Electronix and I can assure you the build quality is astounding.

I don't know if the "Never too much Fuzz" claim is realistic but if I don't show a bit of self control soon I may end up with a Fuzz pedalboard. I'll let you know if they come to drag me away to the clinic. :))
