Morel: Danza Brasilera - Tariq Harb, guitar

Jorge Morel's "Danza Brasilera" became very famous amongst guitarists in the 80's. Although Morel (b. 1931) is originally from Argentina, he wrote many pieces that were directly influenced by Brazil and its culture. This Danza Brasilera is composed in the style of Samba, but with the complex harmonies of Bossa Nova making it a mix of both. I hope you enjoy this performance of this iconic piece!

Μπραβο βασιλη εξαιρετικο..εισαι φοβερος εκφραστικοτατος...κανω 1.5 χρονια κλασικη, μολις μελετησα και επαιξα το choros n1 villa lobos και μου εδωσε ο δασκαλος αυτο το κομματι( αν και μισω τα τριηχα, μου ερχονται τα 16α πιο νορμαλ λογω αρτιοτητας του αριθμου) σε σχεση με το choros n1 η και danza brazilera του μορελ τι δυσκολια και επιπεδο ειναι το συγκεκριμενο ευχαριστω!!!

Yet another disappointing version of this great song I’m so tired of hearing musicians, think that the goal is to play it as fast as possible and not play with a sway in the feel of Brazilian samba that it really deserves check out Rachael Gauk, she plays it better than anyone I’ve heard, including even George Morel himself….
