I love this song. I don't know how I feel about the visuals, or the lyrics. I don't know if the message is literal, satirical, mocking, if this is horror, if it's social commentary, if it's the artist's ideology, or from the perspective of a character. I don't know if it's a periodical thing, or about modern culture. I feel like that is the purpose of art. It can be interpreted in a number of ways, and that's why even while I feel uncomfortable looking at the imagery, I am still in awe of the quality of the camera work, in much the same way I am uncomfortable listening to the message unsure of how literal it's meant to be interpreted, but come back again and again for the quality of the beat.

It's just good art. At times I don't know what your songs and videos are trying to get across. And that's why they're fun.

Love how simple yet symbolic the visual is- it's pretty clear he's referring to how deceptive the whole facade of wealthiness and luxury is. His songs have always had underlying anti-capitalist themes- he's mentioned for patchwerk how it's a representation of absorbing mass media and consumerist brands as a part of his identity. Looking forward to Hive!
