As a fully practicing Catholic, Luis Tagle looks young and happy. The other picks this video lists look pretty late in their years. Plus, the Philippines are a majority Catholic country. I wouldn’t want him to be picked because of his race, but for his merits and holiness.

It is not a time for campaigning or promoting individual cardinals as 'papabile, ' but a time for deep prayer and trust in the guidance of the Holy Spirit. The Church does not seek the 'best' candidate by human standards but the shepherd whom God has chosen someone good, humble, and ready to serve.

Let us not be distracted by speculation or personal preferences. Instead, I invite you to lift up every cardinal elector in prayer. Ask the Holy Spirit to enlighten their hearts and grant them the wisdom to discern God's will. Together, let us trust in the Spirit to guide this process, believing wholeheartedly that God will provide the leader the Church needs in this time. Remember, our role is not to choose, but to pray, trust, and hope in the Lord's plan.

I pray that it'll be someone who's as much as a People's Pope as Pope Francis and still young. I'm only 34 but I've already seen and wept for 3 Popes passing in my entire lifetime.
