In this video tutorial we will walk you through step-by-step the backend of Shopify and show you how to add and manage your inventory.

Shopify has automatic inventory management so when an item is purchased it automatically subtracts from your available stock. This is key in managing how much inventory you have available especially if you are fulfilling the orders yourself.

We will show you how to set up your Shopify products so that they automatically track the inventory for you.

Hi! Is there a way to track sales made outside of Shopify? For example on Poshmark or eBay so Shopify inventory can be updated and managed as well as the source the sale came from is captured? If not any thoughts on how to track inventory/sales when selling on multiple platforms in addition to Shopify store? Thank you

What if you want to set a certain amount but not specific to a variant just as a total... with a drop down of different prices of the items shown on variants pictures. I hope that makes sense.

What if I’m using a POD company? Do i have to worry about the inventory?

Is there a way to do a total quantity with variants without specifying each variant? For example, if I have an item that is made to order such as a dress, I have a limited amount of fabric but the fabric can be used to make any size.

Thanks!

So it seems i cant sell on Facebook or use Instagram tagging using Printful because i do not keep a inventory list. is there a way around this other than mailing my own product?

My issue with Shopify is that there is "no" clean "overwrite". When importing a new file, if the product exists on a file on Monday and stock out on the file on Tuesday. It will not do a clean overwrite. You have to go and manually find products that are not on the File Tuesday otherwise it will still show the product in stock.

I was advise to delete my entire inventory over 7k items and do a new import, which created more problems. From my perspective, an overwrite should work like an overwrite in excel or any other Microsoft products. An overwrite should do a "clean" overwrite, not just overwrite products on the original file.

Do you recommend creating SKUs for a clothing online store? Or is Shopify tracking quantities of products enough?

I'm looking into ordering the shopify pos for my brick and mortar stores, but i wanna know whats your experience with it (if you have it) and how does making a sku for my inventory work ? i herd a lot of complaints making skus cause of third party apps play a role in this circumstance instead of shopify having their own integration. I need advice and thank you
