The most honest baby update I've seen in my life and I absolutely appreciate it! Parenting is HARD and you guys are rocking it! Missed all your videos and looking forward to your future videos ❤

"Apparently it's developmentally appropriate to take 30 minutes naps!" - I felt that in my BONES, I said the exact same thing (with the exact same tone 😂) when my son was that age! I'm always reminding myself of what's developmentally appropriate so that I have realistic expectations for him and myself.

3 months into “3 under 2” ( super busy toddler and newborn twins). Struggling is an understatement! In a workd filled with “influencers” with their perfect makeup and home- really needed honest content like this of “you can love this phase and and it can suck at the same time!”
Thank u for keeping it real ❤

Aw, Sarah! It sounds like the past five months have truly been a challege. My heart goes out for y'all. I hope it gets easier for you soon! As my husband and I start planning for our second child, your videos continue to provide guidance and insight into our near future. We really appreciate your updates!

I love how HONEST you are. Man, the newborn phase is not fun and I feel like it’s taboo to talk about, at least with the women I’m surrounded by. So thanks for being real. I did not enjoy that phase as much as I would’ve liked (also had postpartum anxiety) and it’s nice to hear someone else acknowledge those challenges.

I feel you on the 30 minute nap issue! My girl only took 30 minute naps, no matter what I did. It did turn a corner at 6 months, and now at 8 months she’s taking 2, 1.5 hour naps. There is hope lol

My son did the 30 minute naps too! Soooo hard to deal with. I'm glad you survived! We're trying for our second now, and I'm sure all of your upcoming videos will help as we (hopefully) enter the next chapter. Your family is beautiful, and I really appreciate how you keep it real without sugarcoating. It's so validating. "He's starting to suck a little bit less, " LOL I felt that.

I feel you so much Sarah on struggling mentally with "crying = failure", that is a struggle that I have too ❤️ a tough day with my kiddo will always leave me feeling like a failure of a mama. I'm due with #2 in December and #1 will be 17 months old, so I'm gearing up for the trenches for those first 6 months or so!
So good to see you guys again xx

We’d love to see you do a video on lip/tongue ties! We went through this with our newborn and would love to hear your experiences as well! Congrats!

I'm still going through post partum depression 10months in with my 1st and we have been talking about number 2...seeing this and how real it is and difficult for you also, I'm now convinced that we should wait until after she is 2yrs old.. thank you for being honest and authentic. Sending love to your beautiful family

Not sure if you’ll see this but please remember that this channel/YouTube side gig serves you, not the other way around! If it’s too overwhelming to get through all that newborn content and edit it together, just skip it. We will be here to support whatever you put out whenever you’re ready!

We’re 3 months in to our first. Bilateral clubfoot, and tongue tie. Been feeling like, “All we’ve done is keep our baby alive, nothing else.” Which I recognize is super important. But if you guys are only just getting it together, we must be right on track!

I’m 25 weeks pregnant and binge watching your entire channel. I love your mix of science and the shared experience of being new parents. So grateful for your content and glad you’re planning a newborn series. I’m gonna need it 🙏🏼

I’m 19 weeks and 5 days with my first baby. When I was going through fertility treatments I would watch your week by week pregnancy videos the time. So happy to see you are both in the land of the living - looking forward to joining you on this crazy train in 20 (+/-) 3 weeks.

My baby was the same!!! Cried all the time and I felt like a failure and super vigilant all of the time. Would only nap in the stroller so in the middle of summer post partum I was walking like 8 miles a day (against my will)
He’s a year old know and the light of my life. But the first 4-6 months were so rough!!! Love you guys!!!

Adore how honest you all are..We’re trying for baby two with an 11month old and it’s nice to hear the reality of it all and not hearing unrealistic expectations.

THANK YOU for normalizing the half hour naps! Our 5 month old only regularly baps 20-30 mins and I definitely thought it wasn’t normal based on all the info out there! Glad to hear you’re all surviving and making it through!

As a mom of two under two (although on the other side with a 2.5 year old and a 9 month old) - you guys are awesome! I remember when my youngest was around 6 months and you finally start feeling like life doesn't suck anymore. It's getting a bit rough again as the toddler is becoming a threenager and both of them have separation anxiety so - woohoo. But I'm glad you guys found your stride as a family!

As a pediatric nurse - thanks for all you guys do, both from the OB and the cards front! I specialize in care coordination between MFM and medical specialities needing transfers into our children's hospital so I love all the BPD/pulm HTN and complex babies you care for! Go team!

My husband and I watched your videos in preparation for our first baby. Your experience with Bo is almost exactly the same as the one we had with our son! He really tested us for 4 full months, it was so tough. He is now 8 months and life is so much better. Hearing your experience has been validating and I’m glad things are improving for you guys too. All the best!
