Kind of like watching Bob Ross create a painting. You keep adding more tress against my initial objection yet it all works out beautifully in the end. Well done sir.

This is absolutely the best explanation and clearest example of this type of music composition I've seen on YouTube (for me personally having spent over two years trying to teach myself from zero knowledge by watching too many videos). Thank you and please keep making the videos (perhaps one on counter-melody?)

Such simple concepts (or seemingly so given the quality in presentation) that work and translate so well with an amazingly clear explanation. Super helpful, thank you for sharing!!

This is the best wriing piano music guide I've seen, thank you so much, I understood pretty much everything I wanted to know. The only thing I wanted to find out which I still could not find is how to switch between keys properly.

Hi Simon Thankyou so much for your videos they are the best most informative lessons on utube. I love your style of teaching, I have learned more in the last few days than I have in months of some of the other programs. Thankyou Ron from the UK

Absolutely fantastic video. Building a piece step-by-step this way really makes it seem much more achievable for beginners like me. Really inspirational. Also the music you composed here, I could hear it with added strings etc, so absolutely could take this idea, start off on piano and add other instruments. Thanks a lot Simon, really appreciate this video!
(So glad I taught myself music theory, it helped a lot to understand why you used certain scale degrees etc)

Absolutely Amazing, I went from just knowing basic music theory to taking my first steps into composing! I ended up making something I could use in a video project for one of my classes. Many thanks!

One of the best videos on internet
very clear, with examples, no unnecessary talkings, and best use of voicing and well planned
Thanks a lot for this man
I'd like to request you to put video regarding two topics
1) Proper distribution of frequencies in orchestration on instrument which are always there
2) Best kontakt vsts you use which can do the job without hunting for new ones
Please make these 2 videos I'll be grateful to you

Thank you. A great lesson for us not piano players. Will save me a lot of time entering things very slowly when there is a method to do this.
