BOSE 900 Soundbar - Best Dolby Atmos Soundbar? REVIEW

Hey Guys, Thanks for watching. I wanted to review the Bose Smart 900 Soundbar. It is my new soundbar for my living room and I LOVE it. For the size and customization options, it is less expensive than the SONOS Arc and sounds way better in my opinion. It is the best soundbar I have tried under $1000 and its not even close. With the bass module, it sounds even better. Let me explain why some of the criticism has been off the mark.

I just bought the 900 with the 700 bass module and you don’t need the bass module, but I did. I want to feel the movie/music and this definitely makes that happen. Super clean too. Amazon prime day all for under 1350

The Bose Smart Soundbar 900 is great, there's no doubt about that. For a review, I'd suggest to play music with vocals in it, to show midrange clarity or the lack of. Also raising treble or bass isn’t the factor to identify good sound. Also showing Atmos height effects with Dolby test footage would be nice. In order for videos like this to be called a „review“, there is a lot to improve.

would you recommend unplugging the soundbar when not in use or just leave them plugged on standby? Does this affect the lifespan of the unit?

‘Sum of all parts’, electricity, if it’s draining the power source ( battery) it will definitely impact the sound quality even so on the frequency level, but why ? There’s must be so many other moving parts to it? Mother board is considered the CPU, so just because it is on doesn’t mean guaranteed frequency notes being hit ( I’m new to this)

I still use my vintage 2-channel system with JBL L-100 speakers fed by a Marantz 2252B receiver. I prefer 2-channel audio, so how does the 900 sound as a regular 2-channel system? I'm setting up a new media room with an 85" TV. Thanks

It's a good soundbar but you need the sub+rears for any kind of Atmos.

This is the point with this sound bar, it offers more immersive fuller sound than other speakers. U need subs and rear speakers from other brands to compete. This is often missed, as they try to say the others are better value, as other brands come with a sub. With bose u have to pay more. bar vs bar there’s no competition. Bose is much more powerful,
