For months I've been through a lot of pain and sorrow..and cry everynight.. And one night, not being able to bear the pain, I cried out to God for an answer and I randomly opened my Bible and it lead me to psalm 13. I read and realized how much it relates to my situation then I found this song.. Really encouraging.. God bless you all.

This Scripture set to music is so comforting. It's comforting to know that God's people down through the ages, including King David, suffered when God "hid His face for a moment". This is a great song to meditate on during the dark and rest, in the Faithful God Who has, indeed, been ever so good to His people.

At times I stand outside at night, cat my eyes toward heaven looking at the stars and wonder how this awesome God who created all that beauty and the whole universe hears and loves me. Its then that words fail me and I just say them You my saviour for your offer, love, grace and mercy. Even if I can just agree with the Psalmist in 116 and say I love You because You heard me and inclined His ear to me. Be encouraged and know there is no greater love than the love of Jesus that says come just as you are. Your brokenness everything that's weighing you down just pour it out before Him.

By a miracle, we got Alisa to sing this to my first wife and my 16th anniversary....little did we know that my first wife went Home to Jesus on April 9th. This song carried me through the deepest sorrow and tears.
