Picasso's Studio * A Short Art Story set in the Bateau Lavoir, Montmartre, Paris

Today I’m telling an art story, and drawing. I used to like drawing from these old photos of Picasso’s Montmartre, as a kid, and reading stories about the Bateau Lavoir, one of Picasso’s earliest studios. Paris was full of important artists at the time, and Picasso and Braque's "Cubism" caused a storm in the art world.

A lot of the illustrations I've done for this videos were from old photos, but to avoid running into copyright issues, I couldn't show the actual photos, which was a pity. However, the good news is that you can see all the original photos online, if you browse through the links I've provided in the Description under the videos, and do also have a go at the "Find Picasso's Studio" game, which I thought was good fun. Indeed, Paris seems to have been a lot of fun, back in the Bateau Lavoir days. Hope you enjoy the story.
