Every now and then, you might catch nature’s very own light show – a meteor shower. These shooting stars are more predictable than ordinary meteors and consist of comet debris that light up the night sky.

Star Gazers host Trace Dominguez tells us the science behind meteor showers and spotlights the Leonids, one of the fastest major showers that happens every year.

Great video, I like the longer form, and I appreciate the visuals!
My brother claimed to have seen a meteor storm in the 80's. He described it just like you did, they were falling almost like rain. Wish I could have seen it!
