I really love the GB version. Thanks for reviewing. I noticed that an Switch icon is now available? Haven't played it recently, but will check it today again if there is an update. Weird that is hasn't been added to the PS4 version? Extra version is a skip for me unless I can find the rom and play it on MistaFPGA.

I still really want that Revelation collectors edition because the book and little arcade cab are just such neat little things. The Omnibus 3 and the Blu-Ray are also things that are definitely things I would get use out of

Just love those GB versions of the classics like this and the more available GB Contra game on the contra collection.Hope Sagaua gets a digital release at some point.Great review as always.

What did you guys think of Infinos Gaiden? I just picked it up and am enjoying it, and was reminded a bit of Darius.

Pleasantly surprised about your love for GB Sagaia. I’m all for a Bullet Heaven M reboot. The release of the Analogue Pocket would make it a good time to revisit GB/GBC/GBA shmups. But whatever, I’ll watch whatever you make.

Awesome info on Darius Extra! Any known issues playing it on the Mega SG? I dismissed this since I have the MD Classic, but jumped on the Strictly Limited physical after hearing about the input lag fix on your 2021 Top 10 video!

It’s a shame Strictly Limited is such a garbage company in my experience. My Darius Cosmic Collection Collectors edition with the old school Taito arcade board box arrived destroyed due to having no protective packing materials for its trip from Germany to me in California, and I was told to buy something else if I wanted a replacement, or they’d give me 20% off my NEXT purchase. NO THANKS! Oh, or I could pay to ship it back to them and wait God knows how long for a sealed replacement after waiting a year and a half for my preorder.

Plus their delays were absurd pre-“the cough”, I couldn’t imagine it now.

I ended up importing the Switch version and got the SLG PS4 version so I missed out on GB Sagaia :/

Definitely my favorite versions of these games, particularly so with Darius Extra. My favorite way to play Darius 1, even above the Arcade original. I still do prefer th original version of DariusBurst due to the sheer amount of content in it (I still haven't 100% and I doubt I'll ever will, but that's what I love about it). I sure wish the extra features would come to the Steam version to make it the best version ever (doubt it'll happen though, it would cannibalize their sales... which pushes me into buying the Switch/PS4 version).

I didn't really play Sagaia on GB, but I have to say it is rather impressive effort on the portable, we usually received terrible ports and adaptions of shmups there and it seems to run at 60fps.

I also ordered exactly this Versions. Unfortunately G. Darius HD doesn't Start in my Switch. It allways asks for an Update, but doesn't Download anything at all, ending again in this question. Cancel just cancels everything leading back to the home screen. Just waiting for a Support replay from SLG.

I want to buy Darius Cozmic Revelation too, but it's not sold in PC (Steam).And it's still hard to buy Nintendo Switch and its games in Indonesia.
