Thanks to everyone at Kaspersky for all your hard work and contributions to the security industry and all the research you guys do is much appreciated. No one that I know in the UK or the US believes the American propaganda against Kaspersky. I will continue to both use and reccomends Kaspersky products. Kaspersky is the only security software that has been consistently at the top in independent tests for as long as I can remember. So, from a UK Kaspersky user - Thank you all again and I look forward to watching Kaspersky continue to evolve and kick ass.

I say I wanted to test a product (not yours ) on my UNIX/Linux system it was a product that declared I could scan my Windows workstation from my UNIX/Linux system. smb://Windows.local blah blah. I downloaded 6300 known viruses and malware and 3 Linux rootkits and isolated them to a zip file. I then tested whether this product could really protect a Windows system from a Linux system. It cleaned up all of them except 1 Linux rootkit which was very old and would not have functioned anyway but nonetheless it should have detected it.

I then went and got your kaspersky Internet security product and put it on this Windows workstation and gave it a scan.
Naturally it would not find any malware or viruses because there were none it was cleaned OK.
What it did find was the cache from the web browser which had a history of the download but as I close the browser so it clears the cache, so it was no longer there.
kaspersky Internet security, remembered what it had seen before the browser was closed. kaspersky Internet security got into a endless loop trying to delete that which was not there. The program would not stop scanning it would not shut down. So I rebooted this Windows workstation, and kaspersky Internet security would no longer load automatically, and would no longer load manually.. It would just say loading. The firewall was also dead. You can kill kaspersky Internet security that easily. it would be a very easy bug to fix.
