What was the Chinese gov.’s point in being so strict for almost three years to now be so lax about covid? Could it be that all those restrictions didn’t work, covid was running rampant all along in the country and the authorities have finally given up? @DW the volume levels for interviews and the reporter comments are too similar making it hard to follow either. How about either putting a pause between interviewee comments and the voiceover of the translation, adding subtitles, or reducing the volume of interviewees if you insist on simultaneous translation?

A couple weeks ago they were locking people up at their work places because of one case.. over night this has happened? Over night the entire country is infected?
