I miss the old face sculptures, but I absolutely LOVE Dracula. I feel like she’s the only one they got right, although I wish they gave her actual Pom poms like the rainbow high ones.

i LOVE the inclusivity and different body types but personally nothing beats the og dolls style and face sculpts and colors as well

New Frankie's skin being different is actually kinda funny. Mattel no longer has the permission from Universal to use their interpretation of Frankenstein's monster with green skin and bolts in the neck, so they had to tweak the design. The character is public domain, but their design of the monster is not

I like these dolls, but I miss how the old dolls looked more like their characters. But I think the new Clawdeen is sooo cute. I love her look

i agree with you on removing Clawdeen’s nose paint, she’s a wolf not a deer & with the freackles and nose paint she looks like a deer (specifically Bambi)😂😂

The major difference seems like the OG were more adult looking while these new ones look more like high school teenagers, less high fashion face looks and more year book faces.

the newer face sculps and art is too cutesy for my taste. i'd likely do a head swap between the og dolls and the new gens. because i Do like the thicker bodies of the new dolls. and while draculaura isn't my fave, having her be curvy-petite is pretty cool. i also like the prosthetic leg on frankie. it adds a bit of inclusivity that wasn't really there before.

The curl problem on the dolls hair is because of the hair type. Clawdeen has polypropylene hair which is a much much worse quality but i think holds hairstyles at least better than Saran, which is what the other ghouls have! That's why Torelai's hair didn't curl, because Saran has a difficult time holding curls and hairstyles. Don't be fooled tho, Saran it's a much better quality than poly

Good move getting rid of Clawdeen’s nose paint. The articulation is WAY better then I expected it to be. That’s nice.

I'm so happy for a new generation to be able to enjoy these dolls, but for me, they're too cutesy and vibrant. That was something I loved about the OG dolls. They were "dark" dolls and Im gonna miss that.

I think I generally don't mind these, and I really like the changes with Frankie in particular. But I'm not sure I've ever hated anything on a doll as much as I hate Draculaura's bangs lol 🤣they look like the front grill part on an old train

clawdeens hair is polypropelene so it can curl easily by heat you an even use curling iron rest of the dolls have saran so their hair might be difficult to curl

Clawdeen is definitely lighter shade than her original which I personally don’t like. I do love the thicker body shape and that Draculaura is curvy. Also that Frankie has a prosthetic leg which make so much sense I can’t believe it wasn’t an original concept.

It's like the new generation MH fused with the Cave Club and Wild Hearts Crew lines... I still prefer the OG ones, those are fabulous! But these dolls are not bad at all, not so fierce as OG, but quite cute on their own. They feel like the teens, as OG ones are definitely young adults. And the previous reboot looked like tweens... IMO, of course. I do like this adorable Clawdeen! And I'm sad that Frankie lost their green tint of skin...
