This video saved me so much $$$$! I was ready to get rid of my not-too-old sectional (7 years) because it looked so sad and saggy. I had other reasons too but for a very small cost, I was able to keep what I have until I'm ready to make bigger changes down the road. Thank you so much for this tutorial. I sent your video to my hubby, bought the polyfill, and he did the work as you described. It really does take some muscle but my sectional looks brand new again for a negligible cost.

Based on your video, I added stuffing to 5 back cushions of my 8 year old couch and used about half of a 10 lb. bag of poly-fil ($30 from Walmart 11/2022). They look and feel great! My couch back cushions had zippers and inside, the liners had openings on one end and each liner was divided into a top and bottom section. I tucked in poly-fil into both parts, wherever there were hollows. I'd been comtemplating taking them in to an upolstry shop to fix this problem and instead I did it myself in about 30 minutes. You saved me $100s!!! Thanks so much!

I want to say thank you so very much!!! I have been so depressed with how bad my couch looks. I dont think my cushions have enough in it! So I will definitely be trying this.

Thank you! I just added poly fill to my one year old back cushions for a spendy Pottery Barn couch. Too bad they didn’t fill them when I bought it! For less than $15 they look great. Great video.

I was a little taken aback when I thought you said you stuff PolyFilla in your cushions - here in Australia (& in the UK), PolyFilla is what you guys would call Spackle or joint compound. LOL

The best and simplest video I have seen on this topic! Also, love the idea about using your feet to even it out! You are awesome! 🎉

Thank you for your good advice. Unfortunately I ripped open a old cushion which was filled with feathers. I made such a mess with it. I will be cleaning feathers for a year and my allergies have gone into overdrive. But I stuffed my back cushions with the feathers and it looks brilliant. So thanks again.

This was a great tip! The couch looks brand new. I did not however sew the holes back up because I was lazy lol (My couch for some reason is separated into three sections with no zipper near each section, so it was a bit tedious)

Our back cushions on our leather couch went saggy .We bought fatter pool noodles wrapped them in fiberfill then put the roll at the top of them, it’s worked out well, Luckily the back cushions had zips at the bottom so we could redo them
