Learn when and how to use SysML Activity Diagrams (act) in model-based systems engineering (MBSE)! This tutorial explains how Activity Diagrams fit within SysML, walks through key elements and nodes, and demonstrates real-world examples in Cameo Systems Modeler.

🔹 What You’ll Learn:
✅ Activity Diagrams vs. other SysML diagrams
✅ Key elements: Actions, flows, events, signals, and more
✅ Nesting activities and linking to behavior & structure diagrams
✅ Running scripts & functions with Opaque Actions
✅ Simulating activity flows in Cameo Systems Modeler

Wow. That was fast, but it was "packed" with info. Very helpful. I loved watching the simulations validate your models. Cheers.

Keep these videos coming! I learn more about Cameo from this channel than anywhere else.

This is the perfect follow-on to the online course I took. Filled in so many implementation details, especially on how to use the simulation toolkit, make signals work, and tie structural to behavioral elements. You have a new subscriber!

Would it be possible to connect constraints from a parametric diagram to an activity diagram?

@CameoMagic, If I am looking to do software modeling for an embedded system, how can an opaque behavior or some kind of action receive 2 inputs that are data structures formed by 2 or more data elements parse them into their individual data elements, and via some logic aggregate them into a new data structure as an output?

In essence, I need to learn how to model software objects and software functions to show our software design before we start coding and creating our signal definitions. Can you make a video on how to model interactions at the computer software configuration item level down to the CSU level?

Amazing video. Are you familiar with Macros and Scripting in Cameo? If so, any videos on different use cases for running them and helping atomize some of the features on CAMEO.

Do you have any videos on how to create local variables within the activity diagram and how they can be used?

Can you provide a short demonstration using loop nodes?

great video, you said there will be a link shows how signal's property can be sended to another act., i can't find it😅
