Personally I am not heavily disappointed by Darkspore. I do not compare it to previous spore games or any hack and slash RPG of its own genre. It has a pretty good hack'n slash mechanic with many different types of heroes each with his own unique abilities. The editor is cool and there are tons of items and loot to collect from as well as the vast amount of heroes you can use to mix n match to form your own squads. I have not regretted buying this game and I give it a 4/5.

I don't know what you're talking about. Darkspore was far from disappointing to me. When I first played the beta, I was impressed. I had to buy it. I would play it a lot more if it wasn't for it not being installed on my new computer.

yes the beta was really fun back then, when the character wipe came for the release, everthing became kinda... dull.

I cant even play the game because it needs some video card to play it! I have been trying to even look for a 256mb video card with shader model 3.0. I have found it and it is a Nvidia Geforce 9800 and yet it still doesn't work! Why all this hassle for 2 months!

I don't hate dark spore its just one thing about it is that its NOTHING like spore you cant actually create your creatures all you can do is add parts to creatures already made for you LOOK if made this then why cant maxis and ea make the original spore multiplayer i dont know why you made that where you have already made characters i was expecting to make creatures of my own and fight in a arena with them or at least play with them in campaign and actually i havent played dark spore in 1 year

yeah no I have no idea where these "accolades" are coming from. this game's a broad generic overhead RPG trying to heavily emulate WOW. EA tanked with the Old Republic in the long run and now they're trying to rush out any RPG that'll cling in its place.
