When SmackDown needed another main eventer, LA Knight showed up at the most important time. Randy was injured, Styles was dealing with health issues & Edge departed from WWE. Smackdown was brutalized with a lack of main card talent. That feud with Roman cemented him as a future title holder. He straight up took the challenge & out did Roman week after week. His ability to improvise during a promo is phenomenal, his charisma & confidence conveyed to the fans that he's a threat. The final facet is that he's a safe worker; He earned the United States Championship.
