There is an extreme inconsistency in quality from one bag to another. Some are good others are awful. WHY? Especially with the Starmix.

American Haribo is made with cheaper sweetners, different flavors and dyes and are soft and mushy.

Ok, so... look at the back of the the Goldbears package: If it says Made in Germany and the Bears look slightly glazed, they are the good ones. If the package says nothing about where they are made: Look out they are shiney and they are not the original. Very disappointing, Haribo blew it totally, the new bears are cheap, yucky and will hurt your stomach if you eat too many. Bad Haribo!
