Bearded dragon shedding 😳

FYI These aren’t wild animals they are captive bred if you know ANYTHING you know that they are Inbred and over bred most trans and het trans have bad eye site. Also they can’t poop and leave the area. So they wind up walking in their poop then use there back legs to scratch shed off of there face..I’ve had a dragon get an eye infection and cost me $800. I’ve also had a dragon rub it’s nose off on bricks and rocks during a shed. I also soak all of my dragons. so mind your business and learn from me or please leave me be…god bless all the dragon Karen’s lol nice try. If you watch my TikTok you’d see I am an advocate for these animals and I’m one of the best in the world at caring for them 👍🫶

i have a leopard gecko and she's really old and has trouble with getting shed off her face. We have tried to get it off but we struggle too even. We thought she wasn't eating because of her age or because it had just been winter and sometimes they just don't eat when its that cold. One day I went to help her with her shed. I was able to get it all off. I just know she felt so happy after that because i had found out that the shed had made it to where she could't open her mouth. She was also able to open both of her eyes which idk when the ladt timd she was able to do that was. It just makes me happy to know that she is so much hapliet and in better health now

For anyone afraid- it's okay to peel the lizards, especially around the 'ears' and boopable snout. Shed gets stuck in those areas and are hard for the doggo to get off. So a nice soak will ease the skin away from the unshed skin, like a shower after a sunburn. But for lizards, it helps get rid of it. The person knows what they are doing

Edit: for anyone bringing up the word "doggo" in my post, have y'all never heard the term "scale puppy" to describe lizards? As well as the joke of "that's a weird dog"?

I do that with my bearded dragon ONLY if it's super dry and crusty around her eyes. She gets irritated with it so it does help. I only do the eyes tho just to help
