This little Welder is not bad for the price! 115 volt is ok for small welding jobs. Ir you have a 230 volt plug it will run way better for your 1/8 7018 or 6011 6013 7014 rods . Not very good with 6010 . Good price for the hobbyist or small welding jobs. Thanks for watching! Please if you like it share and subscribe if you don’t that’s ok too.

I have the mig/stick 220 and scratch tig/stick versions of this machine, both are 110/220-120/240 and they will run amazing on 240 but will require skill on 110 to get a proper bead. .035 flux on 120 seems to be a bit hesitant but they come with a 60% duty cycle in 220/40 which is amazing for such a cheap welding machine. They're light, easy to setup and most people turn their noses at them so less likely to be stolen. I've never had peelers with such color when it comes to stick. They will run 1/8 rod just fine for hours. I can't express how impressed I am by such a cheap tool and now I have two in my garage with bottles of 80/20 AR/Co2 and AR/HE.

Thank you so much for sharing this video. I'm really glad I came across your video because I was gifted one. I'm no welder at all but, I'm trying to, "restore" a 1979 Pontiac Grand Prix and well, it's really hard to find the rubber bumpers that fit across the bumpers. Anyways, so because the bumper is left with the holes I want to fill those holes, the holes are from 1" to 1.5" and then grind them flat and then send the bumper to get chromed. Am I able to use this and what materials can I use. since I'm a newbie and this will be my first project.

I thought about buying one of these i see on Amazon with a lift tig, it appears to be 110 only for like 99$ it looks like it would be a decent companion to a little auto arc 185( miller with cheaper parts if researched correctly) in back seat of truck for tiny jobs or a quick cobble and putting a small amount of tig capabilities to my arsenal, i primarily run 6011 and 7018 on farm and sawmill equipment but I feel like it may be a good little back up, get out of a pinch, or get somewhere you cant drag your leads. Still not convinced i should buy this or change oil in truck lol. Thanks for the information on these units.

tbh i would buy one of these to learn welding before investing in the bigger welding machines or before going to a welding school

It sucks that now they only sell the 110V version, no more dual voltage

Inverter machines don't do 6010 well. Use 6011
