Such a beautiful voice and song, IZ sings with emotion that I understand. A strong message that we all need to hear, this world is tough now. The land is being taken away here in CT, it hurts every time I see it and I do speak up. God Bless IZ, his voice still carries us.

I’ve always felt this song was IZ’s master peace. It’s a hard listen, because IZ sounds heartbroken. He’s speaking a hard truth we all need to hear. We can’t live our lives without ever looking back to see the cost. God bless, IZ.

Have never heard this song until today, the chorus played over a video of a tribute to Lahaina and the horrific devestaion. Having visited Hawai'i, 25 years ago I learned about the magic of IZ and the magic of the land, the people and nature of the islands. I learned about how it was a sacred home, and the lessons to be learned and honored. This beautifully passionate and haunting song made me weep- for the great loss of before and today. This music will stay with me I felt it, connected to my heart. ❤

Had the honor to see him on Oahu several times in his early years. What a talent. Listen to him sometime with him with only his ukulele... FAB! Such a very nice young man and a tragic ending for such a talent.
