I discovered Kenny Rogers' music in 1983 thanks to a friend who was a huge fan of his. She would replay the songs on his albums over and over again and ended up falling in love with his voice. Years later, he released this song, which I think is one of the most beautiful he's ever sung, because he sings it with so much feeling and love, and you can feel it as you listen to it. You end up completely in love.
