They make gater and a few of the others way to easy to was disappointed with how easy it was to kill it I think all I used was like 2 shots of express ammo with the double action revolver

Fire arrows most effective. You can kill anything in one shot and immediately. I choose it mostly with legendary animals. Since it won't ruin legendary animals' pelt and pretty clean
