Good explanation, but I differ on the nested table is not same as pl/sql table. Pl/sql table is transient collection while nested table is permanent collection.

Associative arrays are also called as PLSQL tables or index by tables.
Nested table is not called as PLSQL table.
Will associative arrays store in DB? Please explain about storage in DB of this collections

Nested table and plsql table are not same
plsql table have different names like index by table, associative arrays are other name s for plsql table
you are telling wrong here nested table also called as 'plsql table' is wrong statement
