Beck's Bolero Instructional Video

How to play Beck's Bolero. Jeff Beck wrote it with the help of Jimmy Page, Keith Moon, and John Paul Jones. To intelligently solo over the changes you must know the chords.
In the improv I neglected to do the trademark Jeff Beck solo which can be played with a slide or not. It is basically descending arpeggios. 14th fret Asus4 to A over the A chord, 12th fret Gsus4 to G over the C/A. That is one reason I decided on G major being the parent scale from which the C/A chord was derived. It was a question of F# (E Aeolian) vs F (E Phrygian) and the F# was a more relevant note in the general melody and the turnaround part of the solo. Anyhoo, it moves up to the 19th fret Dsus4 to D. And finally the E over the A chord and D - E - F# over the G6/A chord during the turnaround measures. The resolution to the E before going back to A also occurs after the rock riff progression that concludes with the big Led Zeppelin-esque E chord.
