How to Compile in Visual Studio 2010 for C++

If you don't like visual c++, you should try out code::blocks its a fairly good compiler, its just not as interactive with the users... the only reason im switching is so I can start DirectX with a lot less hassle from the compilers

Your welcome. And let me tell you a little tip, if you learn C++, you learn how to program in any programming language, you just need to learn the special symbols, statements, and commands. For Example:

cout<<"Hello World"<<endl; in C++ is the same as System.out.println("Hello World"); in Java

I took C++ and it isn't necessary for anyone to take C before C++. And there are plenty of tutorials out there in the internet for C++, all you have to do is start looking. Good luck in your programming career :)

Are there any simpler compilers out there cuz MV C++ is too complicated and hard to use for me. I can never figure it out.

hey dude i have many .cs files .sln, resources folder and properties, i also have an icon and i want to compile all together.

( i downloaded the source code of a program, and now i edited it) and i have no clue how to compile it back to exe with the icon.

Lol no it's not. I've used it. The only really good thing it has going for it is big font sizes, which I need cuz I have low vision, but I've since learned how to use MV C++ 2010 Express and it's much better.
